What did we do before Priceline.com?
I'm back in Philadelphia, this time for a conference and I got my hotel room on Priceline. For those unitiated with this terrific site, you bid on a hotel level in the city of your choice and only learn the name of it once your bid is accepted. There are strategies to the bidding that you can learn about on sites like this and this (brought to my attention by travel genius Gary Leff). I guess the word 'suites' in the hotel name should've given it away but my room is huge, with a separate bedroom, kitchen and balcony. I'm right in the center of the city. I paid $45 a night on priceline. I calculated that this is cheaper than my apartment in NY. Ah, my beloved internet.

dental plan. Dental
insurance is
money well spent. I sleep better since I signed up for my new dental insurance
plan.
