First, information about prisoners in this country is publicly available. Check out the Bureau of Prisons website. And are you really going to insist that what's going on in Gitmo is the same as our prison system? To quote DTDT, "c'mon . . ."

Second, look up the word "fascist". It does not mean "Hitler", nor does it mean "successful, all-powerful dictator". Calling Bush a fascist, whether accurate or not, does not imbue him with special powers, nor does it implicitly equate him with Hitler, any more than saying someone is a Catholic means you are saying she is the Pope.

Calling Bush a fascist merely contends that he is reactionary or dictatorial in his approach to government, orthat he believes in a system of government marked by centralization of authority, manipulation of the populace through nationalist or racist propaganda (usually in a belligerent or bellicose manner), and supression of opposition through censorship and terror.

Third, I assume you are referring to the fact that family members of yours were killed in the Holocaust. Whatever the circumstances, I'm very sorry. And then the usual crap about 'censorship' or 'supression of opposition'. Again, ONE example of such a thing happening. Is Howard Dean not raging about Bush on tv? The reason I bring up my family is to make it a little more real for you. There are actual people involved in being killed when a fascist (or Communist for that matter, these two combined ideologies wiped out half my family) rises to power.
