yeah, this negates the GW is a pussy for skipping combat argument. But it still might leave open the question of whether GW simply "cheated" the military by not serving all the required hours. He was discharged honorably, so that is that. The only things the Dems can do is try to have that decision reversed - which is pretty useless and petty. GW's service alone a Commander in Chief in Iraq and Afghanistan is the equivalent of a person getting a 4-year degree from Hunter College, later receiving an honorary degree at Harvard. If the Dems want to take away his bachelor's degree for falling a few credits short, GW should say, "If it means that much to, sure, go ahead. I'll still have this Ivy League one on my wall." Or better yet, let's have GW make up the missing time - oh, you mean his service in Iraq and Afghanistan is more than enough? Hmmm, maybe they should give GW a new honor from the military, making his Air National Guard diploma collect dust.
