Reasons I wish I lived in DC
There's always really cool stuff going on. Tonight, Meghan from Swamp City, Julian Sanchez, Matthew Yglesias and Wonkette will be doing a roundtable at America's Future Foundation. The topic, 'hip Republicans', is a little weird but having met Meghan and read Julian for years, I think it will be a great event for those of you in and around the District.

Hmmm ... if I'd known earlier, I'd have gone. Alas, I'm not dressed appropriately and I've got no camera for the obligatory side-by-side analysis of Matt's height.
I only read one of those blogs; in fact, I'm looking to cut down on the political blogs I read.
FWIW, I think Calif and NY are better for tech and culture blogging. Too bad you're a political junkie and not a geek or hipster. :)
