Kerry-Kerrey '04?
If John Kerry chooses Bob Kerrey, a NY based Vietnam Vet who is president of New School, I'm going to cease being superstitious and bet the farm on Bush. Ari informed me of the consideration and when I spoke to Dawn she was adamant that it definitely could not happen. Well, I've seen stranger things and as Dawn herself said yesterday, VP choices always come out of left field. Bring on a Kerry/Kerrey ticket!

Dude, left field -- not outerspace. Kerry ain't picking a New Yorker and that includes the Grammy award winning Senator Clinton.
Posted by: Dawn Summers at March 25, 2004 11:43 AMHold up. Kerrey is from Nebraska who just happens to be living in New York; kind of like Hillary is from Arkansas and is living in New York; and Elizabeth Dole is from Kansas but lives in North Carolina. Scatch that. Those two ladies have a home-Washington.
Kerrey is an interesting Democrat who challenged Clinotn on health care and other issues in the 1990s. But his war record involves killing civilians and he was a flop on the campaign trail in 1992. Still he was a Shrum client....
I just dont see Kerry/Kerrey.
