Apparently, she used to look pretty good.

Oh, damn. She was hot!
Posted by: Dawn Summers at July 8, 2004 11:44 AMDid you see that outfit she was wearing yesterday. What was that?
I know i'm a bitch that is going to hell.

well you know that edwards and his wife are about the same age.
secondly, the woman has had four kids from what i know. One of them died young and horribly.
Having four kids will make anyone ugly.
Posted by: cube at July 8, 2004 12:26 PMI guess they allow 14 years to get married in the South because that’s how old Edwards looked in that picture.
Over the years he has matured to look like a 16 year-old.
Posted by: Jake at July 8, 2004 02:38 PMYou should post a picture of him sweating like a mule yesterday. I didn't realize you could work up a lather quite like that at a rally. He was pretty jacked up. What's the deal with him rolling up his sleeves each time he gets ready to talk? He's starting to reminded me of Dean. He's definelty a spaz.
It's an interesting post, I was thinking the same thing about his wife when the Today show was showing that clip of the four of them getting off the plane. I wasn't thinking that she was ugly, just normal looking.
Posted by: Zach at July 8, 2004 02:56 PMyeah i'd do er. that certainly doesn't mean she's hot though.
Posted by: scot at July 8, 2004 04:29 PMJesus, Karol, talk about mean! She's done nothing to earn so much opprobrium. Focus on Edwards and his politics, but leave the families out of it.
Posted by: Michael at July 8, 2004 04:33 PMLike the Democrats did with Katherine Harris?
Posted by: Karol at July 8, 2004 06:31 PMMichael- Why should we leave the families out of this? Yesterday, Kerry and Edwards paraded their families out in front of the whole world. Are we suppose to pretend that we didn't see that outfit yesterday? Her husbands worth a fortune and she can't seem to make a quick pit stop at Bloomingdale's. I know some people will roll their eyes at what I'm about to say (I admit I'm old-fashioned) but if it were my man running for office I would make it my business to look good.
I think you should take things a little less to heart. Sticks and stones.
Posted by: Lisa at July 8, 2004 06:45 PMTalking about her fashion choices is different than talking about her, herself being ugly. That's kind of mean, what has she done to you?
Posted by: PAUL at July 8, 2004 07:02 PMPeople were mad at Katherine Harris for a reason beyond her position. Again, what has Edwards wife done to you?
Posted by: PAUL at July 8, 2004 07:04 PMPaul, what did Katherine Harris do? Her role was ceremonial. She had to choice but to validate the results.
Posted by: Karol at July 8, 2004 07:32 PMhahahahahaha
Posted by: PAUL at July 8, 2004 09:32 PMCutting on the candidate's wife...Lord, does the Republican Party have nothing else?
What's next? His kids? Maybe one is autistic or has a cleft pallete...you know, something else you can mock.
Hold your heads high, folks.
Posted by: Rick at July 8, 2004 10:08 PMI was very impressed with how little Moore's critics talked about his appearance. He's the easiest target for a good and hearty point-and-laugh, but most focused in on what they should have -- his stupidity.
Posted by: Jessica at July 9, 2004 09:46 AMLisa, I'm pretty sure that if your boss commented regularly on your hair, your clothes, and the size of your ass as part of your job evaluations instead of on the quality of your work, you wouldn't have much trouble working up a lawsuit. It always stuns me that women are so bitchy about other women, especially those who are in public life. Nobody talks about Cheney as a fat, bald, ugly guy. Which he is. (I've met him.) Envy seems the likely culprit.
Posted by: Michael at July 9, 2004 09:53 AMShe also had to take intense fertility drugs to have her two young kids. Apparently they screwed with her metabolism, in addition to helping her get pregnant, and that is why she is not at her fittest.
