What, now?
Ken Wheaton writes that John Kerry was anti-war before he went to Vietnam. That's a little bizarre, no?

Kerry went to Vietnam?? WHAAAAAAAAAAT? I sure hope he talks about that experience tonight, I would love to know what he thought.
Posted by: Dawn Summers at July 29, 2004 01:05 PMWhat is bizarre about anything Kerry says? Oh that's right... everything. The guy is flakier and odder than Perot.

not if he went to nam just to get war time because being a solider looks good to america and they are more willing to vote for you in a presidential election (think skull and bones conspiracy here)
He opposed the war but didn't feel that his privileged position was a good enough reason to avoid service. It would have only fallen to somebody else without the ability to avoid service.
And Bush didn't have to go to Vietnam for the conspiracy, so why Kerry?
