I JUST SPENT 24 HOURS IN A FASCIST GULAG!
I demand the complete disolvement of all fascist police and military.
In the spirit of progressiveness and the uber-evolved, we stormed that Hate Crime KKKonvention to demand equal time. We demanded they give the stifled, unjustly held political prisoner, the democratically elected leader of soveriegn Iraq, Saddam Hussein, equal time to speak at this KKKonvention. We even were so generous as to allow he speak only via telecommunication, and ignoring his right to be brought out on stage.
Our rational, and far more evolved actions only got the most trogolodyte response from the fascist minions protecting Wannasee 2 at MSG! We were kidnapped by the unelected hedgemons and placed in a gulag downtown.
There we were subject to non-stop Hate Crimes: we were forced to eat baloney even though we're all vegans, we had to hear non-stop racial slurs (the knuckle-dragging "guards" said they were coming from rappers in another holding pen - what a crock of shit), and they cranked country "music" over our Bush Lied People Died chants after only 15 minutes!
Kerry will win by a landslide when the world sees our side's rational, sober and realistic actions surrounding this giant Hate Crime at MSG!
Posted by: MUMIA at September 1, 2004 11:01 AMFunny that a communist like Mumia would think a gulag is a bad thing.
Also humorous is the fact that he would compare this convention to Wannsee - someone must have forgotten to remind him that Wannsee was where the Nazis decided to kill the Jews. I bet if he knew that he probably would've thought twice about that comparison. Especially since many of his like-minded counterparts would jump at such an opportunity, given their anti-Israel positions.
Posted by: Sara at September 1, 2004 12:15 PMThe people! United! Will never be DEFEATED! All of the beautiful people converging on NYC have shown the world that we've come a long way from the days of molotov(sp?) cocktails and gas masks. Let the peaceful protests overshadow the countervailing message of hate, fear and evil!!
Posted by: Toby at September 1, 2004 12:24 PMI dunno, Sara. I thought Mumia's post was a nice bit of satire...intentional or not.
Posted by: Shawn at September 1, 2004 03:01 PMDon't you live in NYC? There are at least a dozen guys with signs like that out on any given day.
Posted by: Rick Blaine at September 1, 2004 03:12 PMI do live in NYC - but "protesters" are kept out of my zip code by order of the police department (and general good taste).
