The other side.
In the interest of fairness, and free drinks (well, free seltzer anyway, I don't generally drink booze before 3pm), I went to a pro-life luncheon today. It was at Tavern on the Green in the middle of Central Park. Like yesterday's pro-choice gathering, I saw a lot of people you'd accept to see:
Miss America Erika Harold:
Alan Keyes (Who is seriously just everywhere. I think the only event he's missed was the pro-choice event yesterday)
And, of course, the requisite protesters:
Oddly, the crowd was smaller than the pro-lifers protesting the pro-choice event yesterday:
I'm not convinced that this guy is really a priest:
These are anti-meat protesters. Maybe they took a wrong turn while heading over to the Republican Coalition for meat eating meeting, or maybe they knew that chicken was being served inside.
This is Alexandra Preate and Michael Tew, from Political Capital the forces behind the luncheon. They throw the best conservative parties in the city, like last night's Gotham Party. Just thought you'd like to see the people behind the parties and see that they're young and adorable:
More on my take on both of the abortion-centered parties is here.

Oh that wacky Alan Keyes... haven't read a nice word about that looney in a while.
I certainly hope Ms. Coulter was able to eat a sandwich or something.
My philosophy is not to drink before 5 - but happily, it's always 5 o'clock somewhere!
Is Cheney going to punch Keyes tonight for calling Cheney's daughter a "Selfish Heathen"? I can just see it, straight out of the video "Beat It," Dick Cheney is Michael Jackson and the Log Cabin Republican's as his gang. They're in a gang fight with Keyes, Laura Bush, Scalia and Thomas. Cheney shouts out, "HOOOOOO!!!!"
Keyes is a carperbagging jackass. Anyway... what were they doing at this fundraiser? Classic Dem comment coming... wait for it... wait for it... were they raising $ to support children that would be forced into the world if abortion were unilaterally banned? Cause if so, damn... that's nice ;)
"Forced into the world"? You mean "born", right?
The only "force" typically involved with a pregnancy is when you forcibly terminate it. Everything else is natural and, dare is use the word, G_d's work ("o" omitted for K's benefit).
Speaking of carpetbagging jackasses, I saw Hillary on Russert last night and... oh wait, she's not a carpetbagger. Democrats never do those kind of things, right?
That carrot guy was at the anti-FoxNews protest yesterday as well. Their spokesman was saying something wacky like how if only the whole world would go vegetarian, we'd have no more war.
Carrot guy was also at - yes this is 100% true - Bloomingdales. He wasn't protesting. He was just there.
