Those peaceful, loving protesters.
Is it just me or would the rest of you be ok with the cops taking nightsticks to the heads of people that do this:
Protesters have decided to exercise their "free speech" rights by filling bags and balloons with urine and lobbing them at policemen. This disgusting practice is going on westbound on 35th and Broadway. Stay clear.

this is why i DON'T go to protests. people are schmucks; cram enough of them into a small area and they forget that they still have to act like intelligent people. protesting is SO ineffective when you have morons like these doing it. people who do such stupid things (and this includes that retarded die-in at herald square) should expect -and deserve - to be arrested.
if you want to protest, VOTE! and if you want to protest further, make a sign and march. it's not necessary to do any of this golden water balloon crap, nor lie in the streets or anything else like that.
please don't label them anarchists! they are stupid, unthinking punks. if there was truly anarchy, *I* would beat them silly myself for doing these stupid things. they don't understand the idea of anarchy - no laws, yes, but that works for me too. anarchy is really "life for an eye" stuff. you could breathe on someone the wrong way, and they could open up with an m-16 on your sorry ass.
there are other ways to express yourself effectively without winding up in jail.

I haven't heard anything about anyone getting hit by a urine balloon. Yet, I'm sure under the many hard-handed regimes supported by Texas Oilmen, much been worse then urine balloons have been washed out of people's mouthes and clothes.
