these are not THE peaceful protestors. that video does not accurately represent THE hundreds of thousands of Americans who walked in peace through Manhattan "to petition the government for a redress of grievances" who were not violent and had no intention of violence. you can hear people around this bit of chaos trying to keep it cool and calm. i hope you are not saying this really represents the march.

yes, there are obviously many people on the "left" who may resort to violence to get a message across (what message, i don't know, but it sure gets your attention, doesn't it?) but also look at those on the "right" who use violence and killing and bombing for peace. none of it makes sense. can we find a way to change our thinking and assumptions and judgments about other people? only if we acknowledge that it starts at home.

It's not news that there are sickos on both side of the spectrum. I have no more respect for those kicking women (even a very stupid woman) than for "pacifists" kicking those who disagree.
What's interesting is that in both cases it was the Lefties who intefrered with other people's rights to free speech and assebly. All the while calling Bush a fascist. Free speech does NOT mean the right to interrupt other people's free speech, you silly. The inability to understand such a simple idea makes liberals undeserving of the word "liberal."
