Oh boy.

"Is Mrs. Cheney jealous considering how hard it is to get sun in the undisclosed location with her husband Dick? Or is she distracted over how red-in-the-face George Bush should be considering his failed presidency?"
-Kerry team's response to Lynn Cheney joking about Kerry's tan.

Kerry should learn that if you don’t respond to an item, people soon forget about it. Kerry has no judgment or common sense.

I've tried reading that statement with every funny voice I can imagine and I still can't get it to sound humorous.

That orange-tan is seared, SEARED! into John Kerry's skin. Stick a fork in him. He's done.

Burton went on to indicate that Senator Kerry was rubber and that Mrs. Cheney was made of glue and that everything she says bounces off of him and adheres to her. Mrs. Cheney's spokesman responded that he knows Sen. Kerry is but asked what Mrs. Cheney is.

(Blatantly stolen from … er … well, from something I wrote a couple of hours ago. I am livid at myself for so shamelessly plagiarizing my own words.)

I saw Cheney and his wife attempt to make a joke about it at some kind of political speech event. It was quite lame. Cable news at the time said, the Kerry campaign declined to comment about the comment. I guess they changed thier mind. I think they should have left it with that, responding to such a stupid and corny Bush Campaign move is silly.

this lack of humor all starts at the top. i'll never forget (seared, seared! in me i tells ya) last year after bush's popular nascar appearance, kerry, channelling as much oscar wilde as he could, retorted with his clever "we don't need a president who says 'gentlemen start your engines,' we need a president who says 'let's start the economy.'"

ugh

hmm no one really likes cheny (hell i even think he should have resgined beause of heart conditions), but i doubt anyone has anything against lynn.

People are married to jerks all the time, we don't hold it against them too much.

the kerry campaing should save their anger and bile for november 3rd.

and please don't bring it up during the debates.

I think highly of Dick Cheney and what he's done both in the govt and corporate world, and I applaud Bush for keeping him as his running mate, despite Cheney's apparent unpopularity.
Cheney's been portrayed as this insidious conspirator, but all accusations I've seen are too spectulative to be taken seriously.
He does have an asshole kind of image, but it works for him. I find his charisma quite suitable for VP of the USA.
