Prayer

Please G-d, don't let me have to get my wisdom tooth taken out before November 2nd. Please.

Update: How many Tylenol Maximum Strengths are you allowed to take? My bottle doesn't have that info on it. I've taken four so far and I'm still in major pain.

I think 4 is the limit.

You can safely take up to 4 grams of acetaminophen in a 24-hour period. If you're taking 500 mg doses, don't take more than 8 doses.

(Quoth the surgeon in the next room.)

Thanks. I guess I'll stop at 4 then. I have a conference call soon and may just try to get to sleep after that.

The lady in the Tylenol commercial says taking more medicine won't necessarily make the pain go away, but I say take 'em until your liver and kidneys give out.

(That was a joke. And whatever you do, DON'T drink with Tylenol.)

When my wisdom teeth ached, I took advanced advil gelcaps and they did the trick.

Use a bigger hammer?

Don't take Tylenol for tooth pain - the best is ibuprofen aka Motrin - I've had severak root canals, dental surgeries, etc. etc. and ibuprofen is the only med that really works on the exquisite pain that only your teeth can bring. I hope you feel better soon.
