It's close

I can't decide what's funnier on tv tonight: the unbelieveable 'Vote or Die' episode of South Park or Charlie Rose interviewing Jay Z, using the word 'author' to describe him, and playing a montage of his videos before the interview, few that don't include the word 'pimp' in there somewhere ('I'm a pimp by blood, not by relation', 'big pimping, we spendin g's', etc.).

I hit the "info" button and saw that Jay-Z was going to be the guest and could hardly believe it. Unfortunately, I tuned in too late and only caught Paul Gigot. Jay-Z and Paul Gigot, now that's a show!

Charlie Rose just listed some of the songs off the Black Album to ask why it was so somber. Just imagine him actually saying the words 'Justify My Thug'.

Jay and Gigot should change jobs for a day. Gigot should rap and Jay should edit the WSJ editorial page.

I wonder just how many conservatives/republicans especially the ones who consider themselves sophisticapted metropolitanites, used to find South Park too low-brow, uncultured and toilet humored for their taste, have chaged thier minds and now love South Park.

It seems republican/conservatives have recently identified the show as well as Team America World Police with conservatism.
I see South Park as identifying with common sense and pointing out absurdities and stupiditys in our society.
South Park has been a funny and great show for many years. It's about time more people gave it a chance.

Paul, South Park was always a hit among conservatives I know. I don't know why you think otherwise. Nothing recent about it.

personal observation.

I'm am not saying that conservative are the only ones that think that South Park is too low-brow, uncultured and toilet humored for their taste. I am saying that some conservatives have recently discoverd how great a show South Park is due to identifying with the creators.

Someone like my sister thinks South Park is too low-brow, uncultured and toilet humored for her taste. I must find away for her to be more open minded and give the show a chance. I bet she would like it. Just like some conservatives have recently done.
