Bliss Out

My best friend (the good, conservative, angelic best friend, not the evil, liberal, horrible best friend) and her fiance got me a $150 gift certificate to Bliss last year. I'd like to use it before the holidays. What should I get?

And, this FAQ is so made for the aforementioned horrible, evil best friend.

I don't know if you are planning on using their salon services or buying products. I use the Super Slough Scrub and find it wonderful in the dry winter months. Also, the Bliss Balm for lips is great as well as the Bliss middleweight moisture lotion. If you are getting the salon services I suggest a facial...Bliss does famous facials. :) HAVE FUN!

Something for me for my birthday this weekend! Just kidding. But, you should bring me shopping with you! I now have the gay fashion sense and everything...

I'm so jealous. Get the Shrink Wrap. I loooove body treatments.

They sell Paula Dorf face makeup, which is the best (though most expensive) I've ever used. The bliss cheek glows are to die for, and the last couple of magazines I've bought have featured those bubbly blue-labeled bliss bath products.

But my recommendation is overall for the skin treatment + one or two of those cheek glows. That's what I would do, at least!

I would get the "Rubber Neck" massage. Soooo good.

But, make sure to TAKE A SHOWER & WASH YOUR HAIR before you head to bed that night. Otherwise, the oils they use will stain your pillow case.
The basic $100 facial is good. Their products are mild enough that you won't break out. 2 of my favs. are the lip balm & the hand cream.

Ask Oschisms how he feels about their GREEN SOAP.

Not to worry Dawn, it's not what you may be thinking.

What's not to love about soap that doesn't produce lather? Soap that leaves you feeling soapy after rinsing for 30 minutes?

The only thing good about this soap is that it lasts forever. I put that bar under running water every time I use Vanessa's bathroom and it never seems to get any smaller.

It just sits there in the soap dish, the same size, mocking me.
