One of those Dawn Summers conversations.
Dawn Summers: I really need to be nicer. I've been horrifying friends when I say even a fraction of what I'm thinking. I think I'm giving up evil for Lent next year. And, of course, that'll mean no talking to you for 40 days.
Me: Me?! What did I do? I'm not evil! I'm sweetness and light.
Dawn: Yeah, but you're not sufficiently horrified by me.
Me: So I let you be yourself?
Dawn: Yeah, it's a problem.

Posted by: Dawn Summers at March 23, 2005 01:57 PMI have to agree with Dawn in this case, Karol. You're a big time enabler. Then again, she probably wouldn't be half as amusing if you weren't around to drive her nuts all the time.
Posted by: ken at March 23, 2005 02:15 PMHA! I'd be thrice as amusing without her.
Posted by: Dawn Summers at March 23, 2005 02:59 PMNobody says "thrice".
Posted by: Gib at March 23, 2005 04:11 PMAnd yet here it is, thrice in as many comments.
Posted by: Dawn Summers at March 23, 2005 04:19 PMDuring Lent, you are supposed to make a sacrifice for God. The bigger the sacrifice the better. So what is the biggest sacrifice Dawn can make? What sacrifice that will be horrific for her if not bring outright physical pain? That sacrifice would be for Dawn to be sweetness and light for 40 days.
But to accomplish that goal, Dawn needs a sweetness and light coach. What better person to be that coach than Karol.
So both of you working together for 40 days on this project will insure that Dawn goes to heaven for her ultimate sacrifice.
