Yeah, but lotteries are regressive taxes that disproportionately draw money from poorer customers. You'd have a situation where Japan and Britain would just buy a couple tickets now and then, you know, when the pot gets really big, just for fun.

Meanwhile, Albania and Tajikistan would be putting their entire transportation budget into quick picks.

Wasnt aware Britain needed or received aid from the US. Ditto Japan.

yea, but even though i do not need the money, I still might buy a lottery ticket when the pot got big enough.

My view on lotteries is not that I have a poor chance of winning, but that their is a good chance that someone will win eventually (which you might as well have you name in the pot)
