The downside of name recognition

That's hilarious. Isn't Rick a dimunitive name for Richard? He could have used Richard instead. But still, damn funny.

Derivatives are mutations of names, like Julia spinning-off Julie, or Heinz becoming Heinz Kerry becoming Heinz.
Dick Diminutive. I'd vote for him.

So if Rick is the official full name - than Ricky would be the dimunitive (even though it's longer).
Shawn - also Rich. I still don't understand people who go by Dick.
Hattiesburg is my home town. [sigh] Well, at least they weren't trying to put a racism angle on it...this time.
