Quote of the Day
"A lot of Russian girls ask you straight up what you drive," he said. "It's the beginning of the process."
-From a good article in the Times about the community I'm from in Brooklyn.

"I like non-Russian guys better," she said. "They're more exotic."
...priceless quote....
Posted by: Vanessa at April 25, 2005 08:35 AMI am not Russian but have dated one or two and I also prefer non-Russian boyfriends ... I don’t know if exotic is the right word ... but maybe material things aren’t as important to a non-Russian.Then again it’s a personality thing. Met plenty of men that are stuck on the material things more than the personality thing. Fortunately you cannot marry money and personality is so much more important
What a disgrace!!
Posted by: vlad at April 25, 2005 01:31 PMYou couldve at least cited me as having sent you the article. Typical. We're no longer friends, just acquaintences (sp?). Ruskie!
Posted by: Ren at April 25, 2005 10:42 PMI was so going to cite you but then was like 'eh, he never reads my blog'. Whoops.
Posted by: Karol at April 25, 2005 10:43 PM You should all be so lucky and fortunate as to date and experiment at least a night with a real "Russian-Jewish Man"
The attention, the care, the love, the touch....
I wish you all luck and by the way I am taken so don’t even try it ladies.

Normally I don't respond to the articles I just enjoy reading them but this one is just a disgrace. This really kills it for all of us. As if we didn't have enough stereotypes to deal with.
