And suddenly his stock with me rises

It turns out Mayor Bloomberg backed conservative Herb London in the mayoral election of 1989. Though I loved Giuliani after he became mayor, I wonder if I wouldn't have backed London as well (had I not been 12 years old). London is extremely smart, talented, well-spoken and a real conservative. I actually saw him walking into the subway at 51st a few weeks back and nearly approached him. I wonder if he gets recognized much.

Ah, but would Bloomberg back London if he were running today?

NO RISING STOCK!!! We dislike Bloomberg and will continue to do so. You must be steadfast and vigilant!!!!!!

Yeah, but in the article the Bloomberg campaign tried to act like the support was by accident.

Well, my support of Bloomberg last election was pretty accidental but he still got it.

Ask Bloomberg if he would appoint London to any governmental office.

The real variable is whether or not the Bloomberg folks would pee all over themselves laughing so hard at such a suggestion.
