Tonight in NYC

If you're in NY tonight, come to Jinx Magazine's debate on gay marriage at 8pm. Yes: Bernadette Malone No: Richard Ryan Moderator: John Carney Host: Michel Evanchik. Downstairs at Lolita bar on the northeast corner of Broome and Allen on the Lower East Side of Manhattan (That's one block south and three west of the Delancey F stop; free admission and cash bar.)

I've been to a previous Jinx debate (on the issue of whether a womens' place is in the home) and it's a little funkier than your usual staid debate panel. I highly recommend you check it out.

All other right-leaning events in NYC can be found at my other site, Right Events

Just to be a pedant:
"a womens' place" makes no sense.
Still I look forward to reading your commentary on the gay marriage debate. The phrase "gay marriage" is in need of a joke - most marriages look pretty miserable to me.

Jinx is a COOL site K. Love their article on Celestial Navigation. It doesn't even say that it is unpatriotic to the GPS!

Ack. Event I'm interested in, at bar I love, on day I have to work late (again). This sucks.

I haven't been able to go out in weeks. Haven't even been able to hit broker's events. Wasted a bunch of money on a seminar about rising co-op costs and ended up having to work late into the night.

Growl.

Jinx is great. I used to write for them under a column "The Outlaw Outdoorsman" - it's probably still there somewhere in the archives.

Lefty - one of the founders of Jinx also started the Women's Roller Derby League in NYC.

THe group used to do a lot of urban exploration, until 9/11 effectively shut down many such operations.
