Headline: Amnesty USA backs off Gitmo as 'gulag'

Wait. So, we haven't killed 20 million people in the most vicious way possible? And, we're not holding anyone at Gitmo for thought crimes? And the worst offense to come out of there is that a book might've been harmed? Can we expect an apology from Amnesty, then, for this gross comparison? I say that's unlikely. It would probably hurt their fundraising and PR. Can't have that.

I don't know if Amnesty USA has a choice re apologizing given the Amnesty Global folks' repetition of the gulag claims over the weekend.

Karol:

Do you really think that Koran abuse is "the worse offense to come out of there?"

Worse than torture?

Worse than rape?

Worse than indefinate detention without due process?

That is one SERIOUSLY fucked up set of priorities ya gots there, lady...

Tommorow i'm putting out "substantiated" reports that Gitmo prisoners were made to eat icecream with no waffle cone(the horror). Also massage time was cut to 1 hr a day. I would be fine with them being set on fire and spit on to put them out.
