Verdict

You know that thing where you can't decide what to do so you flip a coin and your first reaction upon hearing the result reveals to you your true feelings? Well, am I crazy that now that the verdict is in (though as of this posting we don't know what it is) I think Michael Jackson didn't do it?

Update, 6:26pm: Not guilty, as everyone and their mother knows by now (actually, the real test of that will be if my mother knows since she's somewhere deep in Siberia right now). Manhattan Transfer has some funny comments (on Jackson, not my mother).

Update, 11:27pm: Dawn Summers has a suggestion as to what Michael should say if he chooses to talk.

No, not at all crazy.

I think that he probably did molest little boys repeatedly throughout his freakshow life... however, the facts of this case lead me to believe that IN THIS INSTANCE, he might be 'not guilty.'

That said, the jurors were allowed to take into consideration his past behavior. My guess is that he'll get a mixed verdict and a suspended sentence.

I hear the whispers in the air, sounding like a glorious RINO from the Keystone State quoting ancinet legal traditions from Scotland. "Not proven."

I dunno. Some days I think he's guilty, some days I think he's not. So I guess that's reasonable doubt.

Not Guilty, although the Prediction Markest disagree.

I really don't think he did it.

That family is a family of grifters.

My guess is guilty on the alcohol to minors count - not guilty on the rest...

I haven't been following the case much but there's nothing I've heard about it which would lead me to believe he did it.

I hope he goes to jail for a long time, so my little brother can finally get a good night of sleep.

My website scooped the MSM!

Yes!

Not guilty so sayeth the jury.

Is it a crime to be a big ol' freak of nature that makes everybody feel really creepy?

If so, then this was a gross miscarriage of justice.

Otherwise, meh.

I heard there was an 11th conviction of charges where Michael was found Not Black by the jury.

The 12th conviction, he was found Not Normal.

Reports indicate that when he was standing and waiting to hear the verdict, he was pale as a ghost.

I think you people need to read the desposition from the 1993 case and then tell me he wasn't guilty. Guilty then, guilty now.

11, I can believe that Jackson at some point was inappropriate with some kid. I just don't think it was this time with this kid.

All one needs to know is "I want to love you, PYT, Pretty Young Thing. You'll need some lovin, TLC, tender lovin care. And I'll take you there."
