Q.
Would any bloggers/readers be interested in playing an online poker game on Party Poker? We can set up a private table and I think it would be pretty fun. It could be a No Limit $25 or a $.50/$1.00 Limit game. It would be better if we could play a tournament to prevent anyone from Dawn Summering the game (leaving as soon as you win a big pot) but I haven't figured out how to set up a tourney.
Let me know if there is interest. If you've never used Party Poker before, you can get a 20% sign up bonus by using my offer code: Kashei.

I'd be interested, and I'm familiar with PartyPoker but haven't had an account in quite a while (my dad uses it, not me).

Posted by: Dave at June 26, 2005 05:31 PMA hahaha Dawn and her hideous/notorious behavior has been verbed. That. is. Awesome.
Posted by: Ari at June 27, 2005 01:42 AMIt may be easier to set up a private tournament, but in any event I'd be up for it, schedule permitting.

How do I set that up?
Posted by: Karol at June 27, 2005 09:55 AMDave: As long as you're not using the internet to make money off of the game, you should be fine (and that does not include taking money off of Dawn Summers) - if say, Karol, takes a cut for setting up the tourney, then she might have issues for soliciting bettors under the Wire Wager Act... This, of course, does not constitute legal advice and you should check your state and local laws for additional restrictions (some states ban it altogether)
Posted by: Alceste at June 27, 2005 10:16 AMI'll contact someone I know who has done it. He is a little busy right now, but he should be able to respond soon.
Posted by: Charles at June 27, 2005 11:06 AMI'd like to play! My schedule is a bit weird right now, but please let me know when it's happening.
