It's been said before....

...but gosh do I miss the election:

In good traffic news, it seems I have been reinstated to google's search engine. Thanks to everyone who helped make that happen with posts or emails to google.

Hey, at least June beat May, which is no small feat considering the general decline in internet usage over the Summer Months.

The election appears to have given you a substantial (15000+) bounce in monthly visits, not too much to complain about...

I think it was blogging the convention that took me to a new level. The election just added to that.

Hey Karol - Blog anything with the word 'Meth' in it and watch the traffic come your way. I posted an article months ago about a sheriff who decided to give demonstrations to high school students on how to make the drug. Ever since then, I get hundreds of daily visits from the dregs of society.

Well, if you don't have politics to get your numbers up, there is only one thing left to do. Blog about sex or Dawn. Either topic will zoom your visits.

I honestly don't care about the hits (well, may just a touch) but I miss the election waves. Hits from searches for 'Dawn Summers naked pined to a wall' will result in one visitor, one time, who will be sad to discover that no such phrase appears on my blog. But during the election, people were actually visiting to read more than just the one post. I dunno. It was fun.

Ah the struggles of having only 25,000 hits a day. J/K. I too miss the days of the election.

As for Google I was always included with my old blogger site but now that I have my own site, no dice.

How is that counting? Average daily traffic from month-to-month?

Who needs the election just post about the war in iraq. I have found that this is a sure fire way to get people debating. Take for instance, if I was to say that George Bush should never have taken us to war. I am willing to bet that there will be a gigantic conversation about it.
