And if your partisan leanings make you think otherwise you should get your head checked

They look like a family straight out of a Rockwell painting. I mean, the kid's wearing 'short pants' (I love that term) with a jacket!
Yeah, Roberts might be the right man.
Posted by: Jay at July 20, 2005 03:07 PMThe terms "adorable" and "Michelle Malkin" never, ever, belong in the same sentence.
Posted by: Steve at July 20, 2005 05:56 PMCute photo though.
And if it were a liberal politician's child, she'd be making fun of it.
Posted by: Steve at July 20, 2005 05:57 PMI did not think people actually dressed their kids like that.
I'm impressed that Bush appears to have chosen a nominee he believes to be most qualified, and not succcumbed to pressure to name a woman/minority, but . . . DAMN is this guy WHITE.
Posted by: Rick Who? at July 20, 2005 06:38 PMNO WAY IS THIS CUTE. Dude, partisan schmartisan, children who don't know how to behave, even when their mom is grabbing their arm and trying to get them to stand still are anything but cute. I thought the same thing when Rudy Giuliani's annoying brat kept jumping up and down during his swearing in. I know it's out of fashion nowadays, but if I behaved like that when I was a kid I know exactly what would happen to me.
Posted by: Dawn Summers at July 20, 2005 06:45 PMYeah, but it wouldn't have started off the confirmation process too well for John Roberts to jackslap his kid right then and there.
Though it would've made AWESOME TV.
Posted by: Jay at July 20, 2005 07:48 PMThat little boy is so adorable.
I absolutely love his outfit.
Posted by: Rachel at July 21, 2005 09:56 AMWell its nice to know that some of us know when its good to laugh and Partisanship has nothing to do with it.
He was a little kid at an event that just was a little on the "adult and boring" for him, and he took advantage of camera time. I for one wouldn't be thinking "how awful!" since I raised 4 sons and a daughter. Kids have the darndest way of doing the exact thing at the exact moment to cause the most embarrassment and only an old scrooge would either get partisan about it or whine about it.
I laughed when I saw the tape of Guiliani's son. It was nothing short of funny if you have anything like a sense of humor left anywhere in yoru body.
