Mmmhmmm.
BOTW is on the Cindy Sheehan story. They highlight Cindy Sheehan's speech from Monday on what she imagines she would say to the president if she got her second chance to talk to him. In addition to calling him an 'evil maniac' and demanding he quit, she would say:
Cuz, we're not freer. You're taking away our freedoms. The Iraqi people aren't freer, they're much worse off than before you meddled in their country.You get America out of Iraq, you get Israel out of Palestine
(massive round of applause)
And if you think I won't say bullshit to the President, I say move on, cuz I'll say what's on my mind.

When you have a president that hasn't got the courage of his convictions and the normal human decency to at least invite this woman in and hear her out, you shouldn't blame her for getting more and more angry and more and more sure she is right.
If Bush had any common sense and decency, he would have ended this right away by inviting her in, letting her have her say, showing some concern appropriate to a woman whose son has died in a war based on his own lies, and it would have been over. But because George W. is unable to confront his own errors and admit mistakes, he can't take the high road.
I've heard a number of interviews with Ms. Sheehan over the last few days and never heard her make a statement that didn't make a great deal more sense than the crapola being spun out of the White House.

I've been vacillating back and forth on whether she was a bush-hating moonbat who has grief issues, or a self-promoting sleeze floggin her son's corpse for attention, but I never thought she might be legitimately mentally ill until this.
Well, this and the comment that she though the Secret Service was going to execute her.
She is in the need of a good psychologist.

On the other hand, it only took 24 hours to go from Drudge to the WSJ to the right wing parrots here on Alarming News. That's a pretty efficient smear machine, I must admit.
the larger point y'all are (typically) missing is this: we don't hate Dubya. We're angry at Dubya, and with damn good reason.
I suspect y'all remember your irrational hatred of Clinton, and confuse that with our rightous anger. But it's not the same thing at all.
