I see Google finally got off their asses and added you. I emailed them about it a few times, and they were always fairly snotty in reply.

These web pages are listed in order of importance based on the results dervied from the algorithm, which has hundreds of variables to fill in.
That, and the fact that Google is publically-owned. Their only bias comes in pleasing the shareholders.

What you say about Google is true about none-political data. But they are adding judgement to news and politicial thought.
The majority shareholders are rich and powerful Democrats who want to save the world. You should note that CNN, ABC, CBS and most newspapers are public companies also controlled by rich and powerful Democrats. They spew forth left-wing propaganda even though it greatly reduces their audience and limits their profits.
Google is no different in that respect.
