And by 'you' he of course means Josh Marshall
Paul Krugman was there! I was sitting right behind him. Others got to lunch with him, but hey, I was nearby, basking in the glow. He said, "I couldn't do what I do without you."

Typical gathering of the left-wing herd.
No ideas. No solutions.
Just how to shape and frame their coordinated attacks.
It is also interesting that the left is now are worried about energy prices. Especially since they have spend so much effort and so much money to reduce our supply of energy.
Yes! And in addition to that, don't higher gas prices make people conserve energy more? Isn't the left for that?
Posted by: Karol at September 11, 2005 12:44 PMYes, higher gas prices do make people conserve. I'm not opposed to higher gas prices as long as they're not high simply to give oil companies higher profits. But oil is in limited supply, so it should cost more.
The right is just as interested in shaping and framing as the left, perhaps more so. I'm not sure exactly how the left has spent money reducing the supply. The right has been in power for the last 5 years. And much of the oil is in the Middle East, not even under our (meaning the U.S's) control.
Has the right made any moves to encouraging energy conservation? Has the president asked people to drive less or worked toward encouraging more public transportation? or alternative energy? I haven't seen it.
