Things I'm thinking about instead of finishing my work

1. David Lee Roth is taking over for Howard Stern. David Lee Roth! I have a friend who used to come up to girls in bars and tell them David Lee Roth stories as a pick-up line. He's going to have a lot of new material.

2. I can't find the Yankee game on TV (it's not on YES and it's not on network tv), which is just as well because they're losing and it would only make me procrastinate further if I have to watch the whole game to see how it all turns out.

3. Of course, having said that, why am I watching a really bad Lifetime Movie called 'My Husband's Secret Life'?

4. No, really, why can't I look away from this terrible movie? Am I just a sucker for any movie set in Brooklyn?

5. I folded top pair after an all-heart flop (and, obviously, I had no hearts in my hand). It was a hard fold, but the right move since someone did flop the flush and someone else actually made a full house on the river. I generally am unable to lay down a top pair.

6. Dawn Summers hasn't blogged in 3 days. Think she's dead?

7. Jim Russo really could do better than this Lifetime crap. He was in My Own Private Idaho and Donnie Brasco.

8. Is it me or has the 6th inning gone on for a loooooong time now? Or, is Yahoo's scorecard broken?

Matsui just popped out in the clutch - now he must fall on his bat.

C'mon Tojo, do the honorable thing!

The Hillary Curse™ strikes again!

Please don't tell me that one of the players colliding early in the game in the outfield was Bubba Crosby.

I had to edit that horrible (and much worse) flick when I was at Lifetime.

Man the Estrogen just oozes there!

It was Bubba, and the Yanks lost.

Sorry, babe.

Russo was in Fast Times. That's almost as good as being in Spinal Tap.

He's IMMORTAL!

You want something else to ponder? My post on Fresca has received more comments than any other post I've done over the last several months. This means that either I'm mental, or my commenters are.
