In my world...

Drudge: Informant in Iraq admits information about a terror plot against New York subway was a hoax... Developing...

Ok, so what should be his punishment? I'm thinking he should work for the US, digging ditches, cleaning toilets, whatever, until he's worked off the amount that his false tip cost our city and country in security. Does he have a house? That's a downpayment toward his payback. Let's teach some lessons, people.

No argument here - though I still think it was a "aren't I great, watch me defy DC in YOUR HONOR" elect-Bloomie ploy. Took a nice amount of attention away from his absence in the Harlem debates too - wily little troll.

But hey - he got NY Snapple so everything is right in the world ;)

I'm no fan of Bloomberg and I'm definitely not voting for him next month, but come on. He was given a threat with a specific time, location, and method. Would you have been happier if he kept it a secret?

The hoaxter should be forced to volunteer for Freddy Ferrer's campaign. But, I think the Red Cross may find that too cruel.

I think they should slowly lower him towards a vat of boiling lard with flaming alcohol on top and then at the last second, stop the pulley and say, "Just kidding. It's a hoax."

Stop the pulley... I don't understand :)

I think he should be "abducted" by Marines posing as terrorists, led to believe that he will have his head cut off in 4 days, then blindfolded and taken to a remote part of Iraq with nothing but his BVDs.

I think that he should be allowed to sit in prison, with a TV set, three square meals a day, a religious book, and ample opportunity for athletics. Oh, wait. He already has that.

I think he should be fored to play on a reality tv show....for 20 years or until he wins.
