Is it too much to hope we are not sending one dime in aid to Pakistan?

Dumbasses:

Senior Pakistani officials on Friday again rejected a suggestion for joint relief operations with India in quake-hit areas along their frontier in Kashmir, terming it as "improper and wrong".

I believe they also rejected aid from Israel.

Karol:

This morning's Financial Times had a photo of food and supplies being parachuted by US planes into the affected areas.

Allah:

Believe it or not, Pakistan did accept Israel's offer (per same publication as above). However, they said it would likely be through a third party. And I would imagine it'll be financial in nature.

We're SHOVELING money at them. India politely declined our help. But really, did anyone (I mean outside of the fairy-tale West Wing-watching, UN-worshipping set) believe a simple natural disaster would make either of these countries have a sudden fit of sanity?
