Random Comment
Nobody, but nobody, makes me as tongue-tied as William F. Buckley. I met him at some point last year and managed to get out a request for him to take a photo with me. In it, I am grinning wildly but at least so was he (if I ever locate it, I'll post it even though I was really fat in it-which, of course, is why I haven't posted it until now-, having just done the whole back surgery thing). I saw him tonight and as I reached out to shake his hand I just froze. 'I'm uh, um, ah, a really big fan'. He smiled and held onto my hand and said thank you.
