Just wondering
Am I the only one not only not offended but downright encouraged by the fact that Samuel Alito is nicknamed Scalito? I wish his nickname was Thomalito but you can't have everything.

I'm not offended either. And I'm a paisano!

Posted by: toby at November 2, 2005 01:37 PMI was very disappointed in the sissy outcry by that Italian Association. How can they call themselves Italian when they complain like that?
I am encouraged by "Scalito" but wouldn't choose to call him that. Still, if we have "junior" senators, then I suppose we have junior justices. The "-ito" is OK.
