Yeah, it's called the 'Imagine' album
Headline: Lennon speaks - and blasts McCartney; Tapes to air in UK...
Seriously, they can just play 'Crippled Inside' and 'How Do You Sleep' to get Lennon's feelings on McCartney out there.

He also says the other Beatles 'despised' Yoko Ono and forced him to choose between them or her.
oh please. that is the lamest excuse for a band break-up. boo hoo john. your friends didn't like your girlfriend so they FORCED you choose between the two? does anyone really believe that?
the more i hear john lennon speak, the less i can listen to his music.

Posted by: Enas Yorl at November 19, 2005 10:25 PMHi, linked over from Instapundit, like the site. Anyway, a friend of mine who was in a band told me how girlfriends would stick their noses into the band's business to the point the band would break up. Considering what a controling person Yoko Ono apparently was and is she probably did intervere with the Beetles. My friend told me that the girlfriend in "Spinal Tap" was very true to life.
On Lennon's other point, if McCarney did step in to lead the band and did keep it going after Epstein's death what is the problem? Did Lennon ever try to get Harrison and Starr to join with him to tell McCartney they wanted a more democratic approach to the band's direction? Or was it simply that the artistic disagreements were too strong and Lennon and McCartney should have just agreed to disagree and done a civil break up?
