OMG - I was absolutely going to post the very same thing after I saw him on the back page of the NY Post. Who knew George Steinbrenner did better makeovers than Queer Eye?!?!!?

The Yankees do not need a dose of metrosexuality. A Damon is a sellout for coming to the Yankees.
Maybe I'll like him one day, if he helps us win, but what ever happened to some sort of loyalty? Or even just not going to the enemy?

Posted by: Wickedpinto at December 23, 2005 05:58 PMI a Chi Boy, and we just lost Thomas. He was greedy, but he was also loyal. It is a shame to lose a keystone player like Nomar, or (though I hate him) Sosa, or Thomas. Thank god my town kept Big Paul, but he's on his third team.
Mourn the days of great players, in great cities, finishing their careers with the teams, and towns that love them. We miss you "Sweetness" for your greatness and your loyalty.
