What's a little kidnapping between friends?

Rachel Corrie's parents kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists.

They've since been released but there's still something very ironic about it all. I wonder what they're doing in Gaza? Are they continuing the work of their daughter, assisting terrorists in bringing weapons into Israel?

Maybe Israel should send a tank to crush them to death.

Well, keep helping the terrorists and there's no guarantee that that won't happen.

Posted by: Karol at January 4, 2006 01:12 PM

Couldn't happen to a better family.

Don't forget that Corrie assisted the Palestinians to bring in prostitutes and drugs.

Dawn, bulldozers are much more efficient when crushing protesters. C'mon, do a little more research. Sheesh!

But chris, this is just two people. A tank should suffice.

Jake and Karol, I was unaware that Ms. Corrie was involved in weapons smuggling, drug smuggling and prostitution. Where can I go to get more on this ?

hahahahahaha. Von Bek, funny. Long live Von Bek.

She was protecting tunnels that were bringing weapons into Israel. I'm sure they were used for other purposes as well.

Posted by: Karol at January 4, 2006 02:50 PM

She was protecting residential homes.

Posted by: Not Dawn Summers at January 4, 2006 03:09 PM

Palestinian terrorists... sounds, I dunno... idiomatic to me.

Posted by: Ari at January 4, 2006 03:20 PM

She was protecting residential homes.

Which, totally coincidentally, I'm sure, had tunnels that were used for weapons smuggling underneath.

Posted by: Karol at January 4, 2006 03:21 PM

The homes were over tunnels used to smuggle weapons and terrorists.

Ach! Karol beat me. Technically, the day of her death, the bulldozer was just moving rubble around and was not going to knock down any houses. So, Rachel got herself killed for nothing.

Maybe, this is the latest fad? Go to Gaza and get kidnapped by some real life smelly Palistinian terrorists?

Posted by: ll at January 4, 2006 03:24 PM

What ever happened to the Rachel Corrie Musical that opened in London?

Posted by: ll at January 4, 2006 03:26 PM

The reason the tunnels were hidden is that they were used to smuggle illicit items into Gaza. Palestinians used those tunnels to smuggle in weapons, drugs and prostitutes. The drugs were sold to other Palestinians to finance weapons purchases.

Corrie died while protecting such a tunnel.

and here I thought she died while being an idiot.

Thanks NDS. He lives and hopefully he lives long. I don't remember seeing anything about that when the story came out (it was 3 years ago or something). But its certainly possible since the MSM, the damn international socialist protesters, and the Israeli government would all want to spin it their different ways. I hope the parents are able to get some solace from being in the region where their daughter was killed and realize that there are two sides on this conflict (and that the US should fund neither).

and here I thought she died while being an idiot.

hahahahahahah, well, yes. don't think anybody disagrees with that.

Posted by: Not Dawn Summers at January 4, 2006 07:25 PM

I believe her parents contributed to her death by encourageing her moonbatism and facilitating her ability to go there and live. In other words, they didn't have to fund her little field trip. What kinds of nuts would allow their daughter to go to such a dangerous place is beyond me.

Posted by: ll at January 4, 2006 07:45 PM

huh. so the parents of teenage soldiers are also to blame when they are killed?

Posted by: Not Dawn Summers at January 5, 2006 11:22 AM

huh. If the Corrie's didn't cough up the money for their little darling to fly over there, and pay for her room and board, she would not have been in a position to play chicken with bulldozers, now would she?
