Former Steelers star Lynn Swann has declared his candidacy for Pennsylvania governor, as a Republican.

While I have little love for Randell, and maybe its just the playoffs coming up this weekend, but my respect for him increased after listening to today's Tony Kornheiser show. During the infamous Cowboys-Eagles playoff game early in the 90s, the one where Jimmy Johnson got pelted with snowballs, Randell marched around the nosebleeds and offered wads of cash to anyone who could nail any of the Cowboys players on the field. You have to respect that and I'm kind of looking forward to the Eagles-Steelers showdown in PA next November. It could be even more interesting that the PA Senate race.
