I don't think you'll be saying that once we have another 8 years of "President Clinton". I'm really dreading '08.
Posted by: Joe Grossberg at January 18, 2006 10:20 AMJoe, you may want to read Larry Sabato, wait hold on, the ubiqitious Larry Sabato's piece today over at the where he makes a failry strong case for both Bayh and Warner at www.centerforpolitics.org.
I can't imagine Daschle is running. He's probably looking to rehabilitate his image after the 2004 loss and raise his own publicity. I'm sure he's angling for a spot in the next Democratic administration (remember he is in his late 50s and has some years left in him).
Posted by: Von Bek at January 18, 2006 11:08 AMI always wondered why people who haven't a prayer of a chance still run, but Von Bek answered my question.
Posted by: J Philip at January 18, 2006 05:09 PMI think South Dakota lost a bet when South Dakota lost Tom Daschle as a senator. He's a doer, not a gambler.
