Census

A year ago, I made fun of the idea that NY was going to try to count the homeless population. Well, the program is actually going to happen and they're looking for volunteers. I still think it's kind of silly, but it will be interesting to see the results.

This would seem to be a waste of taxpayer money.

Good. I need to know how many dirty needles to hand out.

I also need to know where they are congregating so I can add to my hood ornament collection.

Don't they do this every year or two? I thought I saw footage of the volunteers on NY1 when I first moved to the city.

Since when is collecting important geographic data silly?

Plus easier than doing a cynical yuppie deuche bag census.

Actually, no dude, it's much harder seeing as homeless people move around a lot. Harder to count, see? Click my first link and check my headline.

Wow.
The "hood ornament" crack was particularly sickening.
Do americans stop "erring on the side of life" when the life becomes homeless? Just wondering.
