Not a bad idea
Hmmm...this raises an interesting question: If illegal immigrants "do the jobs that Americans don't want to do," exactly who will be available to build these border walls?Will illegals be hired -- but told they can only work on one side of the walls?

A wall is not going to stop many illegals. A wall is more symbolic than practical. It's similar to the view many have on random bag inspections in the NYC Subway. Symbolic, makes people feel better but really doesn't fullfill it's stated objective. The illegals will just dig under the wall with a tunnel like they already do now to get around the fence.
The way to stop illegals is to increase the manpower of the border patrol.
