I hate fake Brooklyn and everything it stands for

Here is a perfect illustration why I call areas like Park Slope, Williamsburg and so on 'fake' Brooklyn. The difference? People in 'real' Brooklyn have lives.

Well, I'd write something about how your post is needlessly confronational, but that might start a ridiculous "discussion" like the one you link to. So let me just say your premise is incorrect.

How long does a place need to be fake before it becomes real (i.e., all of Manhattan)?

On another note: Between this and the Chomsky report, I have learned that I could be a lefty if it wasn't for all the other lefties. I could also be a rightie if it weren't for all the righties. Does that make me a libertarian?

Yeah, because the Upper reaches of Manhattan are sooooo real.

OK, so now hell=smokers, cats and Park Slope parents.

I'm beginning to think I should start going to mass again. The afterlife might get pretty grim if i don't get this one right.
