Weak and wrong

What a great GOP page! I especially like the piece by Humphrey and the votes against missle defense. Great stuff! Makes me glad I voted for Lamont.
More so, it's great to see the GOP so frightened by the resurgence of leadership within Democratic party that they're putting so much thought into nuggets like these to launch the day after Lamont wins. It makes me think that, unlike the knitting circle here at AL, some Republicans were tuned in that Lamont may actually win.
Good stuff! Hot!

Posted by: Charles at August 9, 2006 03:15 PMBusy day so just quickly:
McKinney has lost before and then she was back. I don't want to get too excited.
Toby, I actually think it's ugly to Lieberman to run as an independent, and yes Lamont may win in nov. More later....out the door.
Posted by: Karol at August 9, 2006 04:13 PMThe Democrats cut and run policy reminds me of the last time the Democrats cut and run.
After a peace treaty stopping North Vietnamese aggression was signed, our troops were withdrawn. Shortly thereafter the Democrats in Congress cut all aid to the South Vietnamese. Immediately after the vote, North Vietnam reinvaded Cambodia and South Vietnam. North Vietnam and its allies executed 1,500,000 people in those countries.
You would think that Democrats would fill guilty for causing those executions-but they didn't give a shit about those souls. Thirty-Five years later the cut-and-run Democrats could give a shit if millions of Iraqis are executed.
