Over there
My first post is up at Michelle Malkin's site (first post following my bio post, that is). It's about Howard Dean calling Saddam Hussein a "pain in the neck". (Will Ferrell)What an idiot! What a loser! (/Will Ferrell)
I'm joined at MM by Mary Katharine Ham, Val Prieto of Babalu blog and Columnist Diana West of the Washington Times.

Hahahaha. A. Hitler -- pain in the neck!
Posted by: sam at August 14, 2006 12:29 PMA "pain in the neck" is what parents call their kids when they won't stop whining for ice cream,...
And how is this different from W referring to the 9/11 terrorists as "folks"?
Posted by: Charles at August 14, 2006 12:50 PMOoh, Gee Charles. Because after he says that, he blows them up.
Posted by: PB at August 14, 2006 01:17 PMI read your post on Malkin's blog but I am totaaly flabbergasted at your selective amnesia,,What Dean said was wrong but what about when the Republicans supported Saddam in the war agianst Iran or when Rummy went their to sell US arms why do you not mention that or is it only when it suits republicans needs is somebody evil
Posted by: Rajeev at August 14, 2006 03:09 PMBecause after he says that, he blows them up.
He blew something up, anyway. Whether he was within shouting distance of "them" is still an open question.
Posted by: Charles at August 14, 2006 03:43 PMDean is, of course, right -- to Iraq, Hussein was more than a pain in the neck, but to America, he was no more than a pain in the neck. Since Dean places America's interests first, he naturally discusses Saddam Hussein as he was to America: not a threat, just a pain in the neck.
The fact that conservatives talk endlessly about Saddam vis-a-vis the Iraqis, rather than Americans, demonstrates once again that conservatives don't put the interests of America first; liberals, on the other hand, are first and foremost concerned about America's security, which is why they correctly point out that Saddam was not a real security threat to the country that matters most -- their own.
Posted by: M.A. at August 14, 2006 05:06 PMDamn, you people are tiresome. Get over yourselves, would you? I can't wait till the insane screamers go back to the streetcorners they used to rant from, and leave the discussions to the adults.
Idiots, losers. Who taught you manners? Who taught you respect? Anyone? No one?
Posted by: Anarchist at August 14, 2006 05:14 PMSo then this isn't supposed to be a dialog?
For an Anarchist you sure are big on rules. Karol's a big girl; she can handle her comments section just fine.
Posted by: Charles at August 14, 2006 06:22 PMI appreciate you taste in music.
I really do....but,
Being a fan of Pulp in the 90's?!
Hey let me know if anybody you've run into were fans of Pulp in the 80's?!
That was a challenging time. "Little Girl with Blue Eyes" was a very difficult song to put on a comp. tape and not have your friends give you the creepy jackalope eye!
but, "my lighthouse" usually helped them so see the light!
MA: Liberals concerned with the safety and security of America? I laughed so hard I had to go take a leak. The only thing liberal are concerned with in America is the welfare of their friends the terrorist, the socialist, and commie Soros. Maybe gay marriage and killing babies comes in a close second. I just can't figure out how you got so brainwashed or maybe you started brain dead and brain washed is an improvement.
