Where I've been

I know I've been very neglectful of this site, I've had a busy work week in addition to blogging over at Michelle Malkin's site. Back in form soon.

For now, I've got a post up on MM about the woman who disrupted a flight earlier in the week. Lots of people seem to be concluding that she was simply crazy and not actually dangerous. I'm unconvinced.

One can be both crazy and dangerous. I love how she has the money to fly back and forth from Vermont to Pakistan to see her "fiance." I have also read a couple of her articles. She is no writer.

I think this is the guy she is seeing. Check the date -- it doesn't look like it's panning out:

Yes, "crazy" people make great dupes, mules, diversions etc.

OTOH, if you check the TSA website, which has been updated since the London arrests - screwdrivers up to 7" are allowed.

Sigh, I cannot believe you subverted the Buffalo Springfield anti-war anthem as a title for THAT post. Again, when people say you're not "deranged," I'm unconvinced.

So, what? Box cutters were not prohibited on flights pre 9/11 yet they were used as weapons. A screwdriver can still be used as a weapon by someone who is crazy, homicidal, or both.

Scary thought. I've seen a man on TV mix a drop hydrogen peroxide with a thimbleful of some kind of powder and it made a pretty impressive explosion. That initially made me think of the bottles that have powdered formula on top that can be mixed later with the rest of the bottle. My question now is: can urine be mixed with explosive powder? Was she really up to something, and just too freaked out to do it?

Unbelievable. You folks are so scared of every danged thing that happens, you think it's a terror attack. And you know what that means? The terrists have won. At least in your wacked world.

Thanks for the laughs. At you, not with you.

Hey everyone, just thought you might want to check out my post on Mayo that contains some more history on her. She apparantly had a Pakistani online boyfriend before 9/11 and initially went over in 2002 to see if she wanted to marry him. After talking about how the people there don't like to see her argue with her husband, she refers to the oppression of women over there as a "humorous" type of equality. Wow.

Uh, how come Muslims that deliberately kill Jews in American cities are "crazy," (certainly not anything as un-PC as a murdering terrorist) yet bizarre wackos seemingly deliberately pushing everyone's panic buttons on an international flight are "merely" crazy? What gives? If wanton murderers are described by the reality-denying-community as "crazy," how do they expect us to "calm down" by then describing a very freaky flight companion as "merely" crazy?! Words used to mean something. Then again, so did human life...
