Some polls matter, "Are you going to vote for XXX?" That has a pretty strong statistical meaning. "How do you feel about XYZ?" Not so much. Too much bias in questions. None of the polls from the Times piece asked meaningful questions. All I think is, "What kind of action can I take based on this inference."

Anyways, talking about one poll in particular ignores the fundamentals of sampling error.

An observation .. Gas prices are coming down too .. and I don't see the TV News focusing in on that the way they did when the prices were going UP.

I would say we are doing better if we had more soldiers...Way to go Rummy I bet Kerry voted for this too (pls not the Marine Corps times link because I didn't want to hear "it's the media" from the Neo-con Peanut gallery)

Not good folks

2,500 IRR Marines may face involuntary activation

The congressionally authorized call-ups are being made “to fill critical manpower requirements in support of the global war on terrorism,” according to a Corps release.

I'll also respond by saying Kerry voted for the call-ups because it's Congressionally authorized....
