Me, me, me

I'm interviewed in today's Metro newspaper by the fine blogger at Englishman in New York, Paul Berger.

In it, I say that I enjoy being a Republican in New York because it feels like there's so much room for growth. Although I think it was John O'Sullivan writing in National Review that said some worn-torn country had incredible potential for growth in tourism since it had none just now. I think I meant it in that way.

Hey congrats, between this and the Michelle Malkin stint you are seriously kicking some ass out there!

Good for you, I'm glad. Keep it up.

And when people come to visit the top Republicans in NYC, they have to visit you.

I agree with Jake -- that, and combined with being a drop-dead gorgeous woman -- is a nice marketing niche, if not intentionally so.

Blah, blah, blah it's always republican this, republican that with you. If you're going to do an interview can't you say something truly revealing about yourself...like whether crack indeed is just a poor people's drug? And then cry about your crappy childhood.

You know, yesterday I was leaning pretty heavily toward evil; but after nds' last comment, I think the pendulum has swung well past the crazy marker - so confusing...

One more time: yey, Karol!

We'll drink to that on the 9th.

Wait, alceste. . . are you saying nds is a crazy terrorist?

Posted by: sam at September 1, 2006 01:12 PM

Long before "Crazy or Terrorist?", there was "NDS: Crazy or Evil?" (i don't think we need to worry about terrorist NDS unless Bush starts a third term...)

Dawn:

If you became a Republican, you could be a big wheel too. People would want to interview you and you would be famous-on TV and everything.

Congrats Karol!
I really like the Metro. Lots of people read it. It's really cool that you were in it.

If I became a Republican, Jake, the age old dawn summers: crazy or evil debate would be settled once and for all.
