Bring him on.
John Kerry is definitely running for president again.

Posted by: Mark Poling at September 14, 2006 11:13 AMDoes that mean he FINNALY came up with a good answer to the whole "Vote for the $87B before he voted against it?
Posted by: ReaganConservative at September 14, 2006 11:50 AMI don't think Kerry is getting out of the primaries. But who the hell do we have to bring on? McCain? Rudy? Frist? Romney? Allen? Condi? Pataki? Newt? Brownback? Huckabee? All of them are seriously flawed to say the least.
Posted by: Von Bek at September 14, 2006 11:51 AMKerry is supposedly set to "let it rip" this time around. That is if his handlers allow him to. Can this guy get any more contrived?
Posted by: Texas Tom at September 14, 2006 12:47 PMAgreed- kerry folds after Iowa.
Posted by: Barry at September 14, 2006 02:12 PM"McCain? Rudy? Frist? Romney? Allen? Condi?"
All better than the best (Hillary!...?) the Dems can offer.
Rudy in '08.
Posted by: Mark Poling at September 14, 2006 02:35 PMBut who the hell do we have to bring on?
Colin Powell.
Posted by: David at September 14, 2006 02:37 PMI'd vote for Powell, but I think he's had his fill of [Republican] politics.
Posted by: dan the x-Republican at September 14, 2006 03:37 PMplease oh please run john and momma t one more time. come on guys, it took nixon 2 trys. plllllease let him run!!
Posted by: gcblues costa rica at September 14, 2006 03:51 PMNot a huge Rudy fan (I mean he is pro abortion, pro partial birth abortion and pro same sex marriage) but I tell you what, I'd vote for him over McCain who is closer to me on the social issues. Part of that is pure competence but part of that is Rudy seems a lot more open to working with conservatives than McCain does.
Posted by: Von Bek at September 14, 2006 04:28 PMJohn Kerry can't win the White House.
He won't even be able to win the nomination---but he's such a creepy guy with a closet full of skeletons, that I would LOVE if he WERE the nominee.
Colin Powell has ZERO chance of winning the GOP nomination, especially now that is has been revealed he knew Richard Armitage was Bob Novak's source, rather than Scooter Libby.
Powell knew, yet said nothing. Nothing.
