NYC:

All In The Nuances- My good friend Ren has started a blog for all things film. I'm not a big movie buff but Ren's pretty funny and gets me into fancy movie premieres so I'll be reading regularly.

Funky Pundit- The funkiest pundit is back! Tom Elliott's new site is finally up. He's this hip-hop listening member of the NY Post's editorial page. How can anyone not be into that?

J.B. Spins- J.B covers the jazz scene from a conservative perspective. I think I've led people to believe that I only listen to hip-hop or indie rock but I love all music, especially when conservatives are writing about it.

Forlorn Apple- I don't know why this blogger is so forlorn because there is no email address on the site to find out more information but he/she did link to my interview in Bella Online so, obviously, we like him/her.

Sister Toldjah- Been reading Sister for awhile, I'm just slow with the [blog]rolling.

Out There in America:

Anwyn- Anwyn is a mom in Oregon who comments here regularly and maintains a good blog of her own. Check her out.

Anwyn, you may be forgetting about the new-classic "Portland, Oregon" by Loretta Lynn feat. Jack White. Granted, that's only about the city.

Actually, I haven't heard it. I tend to get into a musical rut without listening to much new stuff ... if you can call Loretta Lynn new ... ;) But thanks for pointing it out, I'll try to check it out!

And I do live in Portland, or outside it anyway, so that works.

Thanks Karol. It looks like we've got most of the music scene covered from the right perspective now. That's a good thing--it contradicts the image some like to project of conservatives being uncultured neanderthals.
