**The NY Sun has an ode to Brooklyn's most beautiful road: Ocean Parkway. Yeah, that's right, Ocean Parkway, can you think of a better one? (Via Tom Elliott who swore his blog would be back up two weekends ago--you can see the archives of his funky site here)
**Jim Gilchrist, head of the Minutemen, the group that patrols the Mexican border when our government doesn't, was physically attacked by students when he appeared at Columbia University yesterday. Gothamist has video. I love this: "Finally the Minuteman himself enters. 'Now who're you calling racist?' he shouts, putting his arm around [Minutemen boardmember Marvin] Stewart, who is black. 'I love the First Amendment. As soon as you graduate, you'll all be investment bankers. I've been where you at. I know you hate yourselves.'"
I also love the blonde guy, Scott, at the end of the interview, anyone know him? He should clearly be an 'Alarming News' regular.

**Howard Dean's mom supposedly reads the New York Sun (which, for those not from NY, is probably--and I only say 'probably' so my NY Post friends don't yell at me-- our most conservative paper.)

I was having a conversation with Ryan Sager a few weeks back about this.
Not being a huge baseball fan I don't really care if they have fawning coverage of The Yankees-or correspondingly awful coverage of The Mets-but the constant ass-kissing of Her Shrillness irks me somewhat.
Sager was equivocating, "well, she doesn't really have any Republican opposition here", etc., etc.-but still...
I can understand Murdoch's business interests dictating his political choices, but the Harridan from Ridge Park is not the same as Tony Blair.
Over forty percent of the people in this state-NEW YORK-despise her, and now the moonbat, retro-Marxist retards are on her case, so the idea that she's going to waltz into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue-regardless of how many votes she can purloin in the murky underbellly of Philly, or how many more illegal aliens form Mexico are in the Southwest two years hence-is absurd on its face.
Sorry for the tangent.
This media-driven mass delusion that HRC is going to be our next POTUS just pisses me off.
